Psychiatric Nursing Assistant provides medical, behavioral health and clinical clerical support duties within a multi-disciplinary Patient Centered Medical Home care team. These support duties include, but are not limited to: rooming patients according to TR protocol, taking vital signs, administering standardized tools (such as PHQ 9, GAD-7, and others), and patient registry duties.  Additionally, this role will be responsible for performing basic laboratory services, processing medication refill requests (per protocol), scheduling patients, documenting phone notes, receiving and maintaining behavioral health sample medication inventory, processing sterile supplies, and administering medications under direction of a licensed prescriber (depending on level of training).

Minimum Qualifications:

1.  Demonstrated computer literacy through successful completion of pre-employment testing.

2.  No evidence of immoral or ethical behavior.  Candidate must agree to a law enforcement record check prior to confirmation of employment.

3.  Able to lift 30 pounds.

4.  Able to walk and stand for long period of time.

5.  Excellent human relations skills.

6.  Able to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple activities and tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

1.  One or more years of Psychiatric Technician, Certified Nursing or similar experience in an in-patient and/or outpatient clinical environment

2.  Bilingual in English/Spanish.
