Behavioral Health Consultant

Full Time

*Candidate will need to be available to work until 8:00 pm one day a week*

Provides counseling for patients who have experienced sexual or physical abuse. Will work with youth and adult patients. Will assess, diagnosis and prepare treatment plans. Counseling maybe in individual and/or group settings. Coordinates care with appropriate medical clinicians.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Master's degree required in counseling, psychology, social work or related field.
2. Counselor or Social Worker possessing unrestricted license for practice in Idaho.
3. Minimum one year assessment and counseling experience and formlating 5-axis DSM IV diagnosis.
4. Strong communication skills.

Preferred qualifications:
1. Prior experience working with abuse victims.
2. Experience working within a collaborative medical/behavioral health model preferred.
3. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish)
