Case Manager / Psychiatric Technician

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES      

Provide behavioral health treatment services for Allumbaugh House.  Coordinates and completes treatment needs assessments, treatment plan updates, discharge planning and outpatient referrals. Will also perform the duties and responsibilities of a Psychiatric Technician as scheduled. (Please see PT job description).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Successful clearance of Department of Health and Welfare criminal background check.
• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field.
• Two years' work experience in the field of alcoholism, substance use disorders and mental health.
• Working knowledge of Boise area social service resources.
• One year work experience in an inpatient behavioral health setting as a Psychiatric Technician
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with disenfranchised populations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Two or more years' experience in the field of alcoholism, substance use disorders and mental health with case management experience
• Knowledge of computer and email systems, as well as EMR.
