GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for general support and maintenance of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). Participates and takes an active role in HRIS optimization initiatives, provides direct support to end users, interacts and guides stakeholders in HRIS applications and functions. Completes data entry, maintains, audits and ensures accuracy of information stored in applicable systems. Responsible for ensuring that all critical tasks are fulfilled on a timely basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Completes routine and ad hoc data entry of personnel related transactions within HR systems, databases and modules.
  • Maintains system configuration to support HRIS operations and functionality.
  • Performs audits as needed to insure the integrity of data within HRIS systems.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to identify system improvements, solutions and enhancements. Participates in implementation of identified solution and initiatives.
  • Administers access, permissions, personalization and similar system operations and security settings for HRIS users.
  • Provides direct, individual support and expertise to HRIS users, including troubleshooting systems and process issues as needed. Identifes, implements and educates users on solutions.
  • Develops and distributes various reports and exports, providing support to stakeholders and end users in understanding reporting function.
  • Acts as liaison between HR, Accounting, Information Services and vendors as needed. Works closely with vendors to resolve issues and understand system updates, sharing with users as appropriate.
  • Acts as technical expert in the development of training and documentation related to systems containing HR related information.
  • Ensures system and process compliance with data security and privacy.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least two years experience with Human Resource Systems or other related experience.
  • Excellent computer skills, with proficiency using Microsoft Office Excel, Word and other related software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Familiarity with HR policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or other related field.
  • Experience with ADP or other similar HRIS software.
