Lead Medical Assistant-Boise

40 hours per week (includes Saturday and evening hours)

The Lead Medical Assistant works in a Patient Centered Medical Home team environment, promoting and contributing to a positive patient care experience through the delivery of high quality and compassionate care. The Lead Medical Assistant takes a leadership role in the care team, acting as a trainer, resource and mentor for other Medical Assistants and team members.The Lead Medical Assistant supports and coordinates efficient clinic work flow and communicates accurately, positively and professionally with all team members and patients. The Lead Medical Assistant is required to perform all duties of the Medical Assistant and functions as the resource person to the non-licensed staff. The Lead Medical Assistant acts as a liaison between management and team members. The Lead Medical Assistant will work together with the RN Supervisor to assume responsibility for the management, provision, patient age appropriate competencies and evaluation of medical assistants in their care team.  

RMA or CMA certification required.

3-5 years working experience at Terry Reilly Health Services.
