Medical Director

The Medical Director provides clinical leadership on matters to medical issues, quality of care, clinical guidelines, peer review, and resolution of medical incidents.  They provide leadership assistance in recruitment of medical clinicians to fill vacancies and acheiving organizational objectives.  Provides input into strategic decisions for the Medical Division.  The Medical Director (s) role is provided with 8 sessions per month, depending on assigned duties, to complete the required duties in assition to physician clinical responsibilities.

Time Commitment:  8 sessions/month

• 2 sessions ( hours)-meetings with clinicians (and travel)
• 1 session (4 hours)-bimonthly meeting with Operations/Nursing
• 2 sessions (8 hours)-nursing 5 hours and CMO 3 hours
• 1 sessions (4 hours)-incident and MQLT meetings
• .25 session (1 hour)-P&T and Pharmacy meeting
• .75 session (3 hours)-Medical Managers meeting
• 1 session (4 hours)-lead at home clinic
