Patient Access Representative

36 hours a week

Patient Access Representatives ensure incoming calls are handled professionally, courteously and efficiently. Receive and direct incoming telephone calls appropriately, and schedule patient appointments according to established protocols.

Must be able to work any hours from 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday and some Saturday mornings 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

DUTIES

1. Assist with patient registries.
2. Educate patients about the patient-centered medical home model of care.
3. Registration of patients via phone.
4. Identify & route patients needing financial assistance to available programs and resources.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Experience with heavy phone volumes
2. Strong computer skills
3. Exceptional verbal communication skills
4. Excellent customer service

Preferred Qualifications:
1. English/Spanish speaking ability
