Social Worker/Counselor

Full-time

Candidate must be willing to travel between Nampa & Marsing clinics.

Will provide counseling services to youth and adults.  Candidate must also have the ability to assess & diagnose, prepare treatment plans for both adult and adolescent patients.  Coordinate care with medical staff and provide support to medical clinicians in a collaborative health home environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Successful clearance of Department of Health and Welfare criminal background check.
2. Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field. 
3. Current professional license in the state of Idaho (LPC, LMSW).
4. One year assessment and counseling experience (may include school internship in a Master's program)
5. Experience formulating a 5-Axis DSM IV diagnosis.
6. Good written and verbal communication skills.
7. Experience working with disenfranchised populations.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Valid LCSW, LCPC or equivalent in the State of Idaho.
2. Two or more years' experience assessing and counseling clients.
3. Experience working in a medical setting, community health setting, or as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
4. Knowledge of computer and email systems, as well as EMR.
5. Knowledge of community resources, including those for the migrant and farm worker populations.
6. Familiarity with State of Idaho Health & Welfare Mental Health system.
