Terry Reilly has recently opened a Caldwell office dedicated to both general behavioral health and trauma therapy. We recognize the need for increased behavioral health services in Caldwell and are committed to meeting the needs of this community. We provide individual, family and group counseling. Our team of therapists have opportunity to consult frequently with other experienced colleagues within their building and throughout our agency. Terry Reilly is committed to their role as teaching institution and provide regular in-house trainings and a generous continuing education package for external trainings. While we do not provide medical or dental services in our building, we regularly consult with our client's Terry Reilly medical and psychiatric providers to provide the best care possible.

Trauma Informed Therapist

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide individual and family counseling for children, adolescents and adults who have experienced trauma.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Provide individual counseling and educational information to people who have experienced trauma.
• Provide clinical and therapeutic group trauma counseling
• Provide clinical and therapeutic family counseling to clients on caseload.
• Complete initial intake assessments and mental status examinations, treatment plans and yearly updates consistent with Medicaid requirements.
• Permanently maintain client charts and record progress notes pertaining to services delivered in a legible, coherent fashion, consistent with established policies.
• Be knowledgeable about and network with community resources as pertinent to caseload.
• Attend and participate in all staff meetings.
• Meet deadlines to provide periodic client progress reports to appropriate networking agencies.
• Utilize training funds appropriated for educational advancement consistent with CEU policy; attend required workshops as they occur.
• Portray professionalism to clients, other TR department personnel, referral sources, and the community during daily interactions and appearances.
• Comply with all current TR policies, including HIPAA policies.
• Provide court testimony when subpoenaed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working with people diagnosed with PTSD
• Training to provided trauma therapy. Training and experience with EMDR, DBT, Somatic Experiencing and TF-CBT preferred
• Successful clearance of Department of Health and Welfare Criminal Background Check.
• Master's degree required in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Current professional license in the State of Idaho (LPC, LMSW).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid LCSW or LCPC or equivalent license in the state of Idaho.
• Work experience or specialized training in trauma (EMDR, DBT, Somatic Experiencing)
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
